Agilent Technologies 6890N Network GC System 7683B Injector & AutoSampler
Powers up, responds to all push button commands, oven heats up quickly. No further testing of the injector or autosampler was conducted. On powering up the unit, several faults were noted related to gas flow and temperature of the detectors. This is normal since no purge or makeup gases were available. Setting the flows to zero and matching the set temperatures clears all of these errors. The GC is stable and reporting itself fault free. A network cable was ran from the GC to the laptop and established low level communications over TCP/IP. The GC responded to ping requests and did not report errors or latency. Both injectors have been plugged into the machine. No error faults show when cover is on the injector. There is only one cover for the two injectors, the cover is interchangeable. The injector will not work without the cover due to an interlock.
