The Advantage Press supplies the long - awaited answer to the molding industries for a versatile, reliable, press that can simply and quickl y be programmed .
Adjustable High Speed - Transfer and clamp cylinder advance and retract high speeds are user programmable for optimum cycle time.
Adjustable Mold Ejection Speed (Optional ) - Mold ejection speed and reset position are user programmable for controlled mold ejection.
Energy Saving Hydraulic Circuit - Tube/fin oil - to - water heat exchanger to maximize oil contact for optimum efficiency and temperature proportioning water control valve for acc urate regulation result in significant savings in utility sourced water.
Extra Thick Platen - Extra heavy upper platen design to minimize platen deflection.
Hydraulic Oil Over Temperature Protection - Press fault alarm will appear on screen, cycle in progress will continue and shut down when clamp opens.
Menu Driven Operator Interface - Programming of all press functions and parameters are done via a menu interface and integr al touch screen. All screens have “help” facilities explaining the parameter to be entered and its allowable range.
Mold Over Temperature Cut - off (Optional ) - Mold heat shut down when this setting is reached.
Mold Protection - Low pressure clamp closing with .001” resolution. Will detect misaligned and double strips. Programmable mold protect force setting for extra clamp tonnage (max 9.99 tons) to overcome springs, friction, etc...
Press Fault Ind icators - Press faults are displayed onscreen as fault messages.
Manifold Mounted Valves – Manifold mounted valv es for minimum pipe shock and vibration, with plug - in connectors, circuit test ports, and solenoid indicating lights for ease in trouble shooting.
Transfer Cylinder Control System - Transfer cycle fully prog rammable for velocity and/or pressure profile steps. Double closed loop electronics provide positive self - compensating velocity and pressure control. manual 202730
Transfer Ram Follow Through - Transfer ram can be programmed to advance upon opening of molds to aid in cull removal.
