  • • Heat exchanger (PHE-2127-01).
  • • WFI supply pump (CP-2127-01).
  • • Recirculation valve (HV-2127-01).
  • • Drain valve (HV-2127-02).
  • • Back pressure valve (HV-2127-04)
  • • WFI surge tank (TK-2127-02).
  • • Surge tank temperature indicator (TI-2127-01).
  • • Temperature recorder/controller (TRC-2127-01).
    • The portable heat transfer cart will be designed to cool the fixed process vessels from a starting temperature of 100°C (212°F) to an ending temperature of 15°C (59°F) in approximately 1 to 1.5 hour time period. The centrifugal pump mounted on the skid will cycle WFI through a plate heat exchanger used for cooling, which will then be transferred through the jacket of said process vessels.
    • During the initial WFI cool down the portable heat transfer cart will be manually hooked up and locally recirculated to cool down the WFI from 82°C (180°F) to 12°C (54°F). This is done via customer supplied flex hoses, manually overriding the chilled water control valve via through the Chart Recorder and starting the WFI recirculation pump.  Once the WFI has been initially cool down to 12°C (54°F), the customer supplied flex hoses will then be manually connected to the process vessel and the chilled water control valve manual override is set back to auto. At this time the temperature sensor input cable from the chart recorder/RTD transmitter is to be hooked up. Ensure that all the connections are made and secured before starting the WFI recirculation pump. The sequences will be manually controlled via the switchgear located on the system's control panel. The operator will initiate the cycle by manually switching on the pump through the pump on/off selector switch. Product cool down time from 100°C (212°F) to 15°C (59°F) is approximately 1 to 1.5 hour. After the process is finished the portable heat transfer cart can then be drained via manually opening the WFI surge tank drain valve.
